Původně sice měla skončit, Kralupy ji ale převzít nechtějí. Důvody jsou kapacitní. Počet sňatků v Nelahozevsi sice v posledních letech klesl, nyní se opět začíná zvyšovat. V obci navíc neustále přibývá obyvatel. Kralupy by tak na pokrytí potřeb musely přijmout další matrikářku. Od státu by na ní ale nedostaly peníze.
